By accessing or using CiteHarbor ("Service," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients.
CiteHarbor provides AI citation management services, including AI visibility audits, competitor analysis, content creation, and distribution designed to improve your business's presence in AI-generated search results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and similar platforms).
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter binding agreements to use our Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
We offer a complimentary AI visibility audit ("Free Audit") with no credit card required. The Free Audit shows your current citation score and competitor landscape. It does not automatically enroll you in a paid plan. A separate paid subscription is required to receive ongoing content creation and citation management services.
You agree to:
Upon full payment, you own the content we create specifically for your business. You grant us a non-exclusive license to reference your business as a client and to include anonymized performance data in aggregate reports.
CiteHarbor's platform, methodology, tools, brand, and all intellectual property remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, replicate, or commercialize any part of our platform or approach.
Important: AI citation is an emerging discipline. Results vary significantly by industry, geography, competitor landscape, and AI platform behavior. We do not guarantee specific citation outcomes, AI recommendation frequency, or business results. Testimonials and case study metrics are from our pilot program participants and represent their individual results, which may not be typical.
AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, etc.) independently determine what content they cite. We cannot control or guarantee their behavior. Our service provides the content and strategy most likely to result in citations, based on current best practices and research.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CiteHarbor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold CiteHarbor harmless from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.
Either party may terminate the Service agreement:
On termination, your access to the platform ends. You retain ownership of content we created for you that has been delivered and paid for.
Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under JAMS rules, in [State], with proceedings in English. You waive the right to participate in class actions. Small claims court remains available for qualifying claims.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CiteHarbor is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or notice on our site with at least 14 days advance notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
